- Emergency Financial Assistance: may be available to qualified individuals for rent, rent deposits, and utility deposits from United Way funds as well as assistance with past due utility bills from funds contributed by local utility companies.
- Head Start: provides comprehensive early childhood development services to children between the ages of three and five years of age including children with disabilities. Twenty-two classrooms in nine counties ensure kindergarten readiness and development of pre-literacy skills for qualified preschool age children. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch are provided. Parent involvement is a strong component of the program.
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program: provides financial assistance for a portion of home heating bills for the winter months, emergency fuel deliveries, and assistance with furnace repairs or replacement. Qualified applicants may be eligible for Weatherization services in order to reduce the cost of energy consumption in their homes.
- Self-Sufficiency Development: FaDSS and Community Partners provide support through a home visiting process to assist families moving from welfare to work as well as to work with families coping with multiple challenges to self-sufficiency including financial crises or financial management.

- Child Health: well-child physical exams, immunizations, dental evaluations, nutrition assessments, social and developmental assessments, vision and hearing assessments, lead screening, and case management services.
- Family Planning : birth control counseling and exams, pregnancy testing and counseling, sexually transmitted disease treatment, pap smears, and genetic counseling referrals.
- Maternal Health: medical examination arrangements, regular visits with a physician, dental evaluation, nutrition assessment, home visits by public health nurses, prenatal class arrangements, guidance for delivery arrangements, and education on prenatal care.
- WIC (Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children): nutrition education and nutritious foods for pregnant and nursing women, infants up to one year of age, and children up to the age of five. Eligibility is based on income guidelines.
- It Takes Two and Worth the Wait Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Programs: school-based interactive pregnancy prevention educational program presented to middle school and high school students by adult teams of male and female presenters.
