2008-2009 classes:

Head Start is now taking applications for fall classes at all of our sites!! Children must be 3 years old by September 15th to apply.  Call the Head Start office at

1-866-836-3124 or your local Head start for information on how to apply.

 

Program news:

Text Box: Head Start has received a Floyd County Community Foundation grant for $1000 to be used for Adopt a child program. This program provides winter outerwear to children who need it.

 

 

 

Training News: Upcoming trainings include Autism training, Science/Math training, Region VII Head Start conference and additional staff training in Positive Behavior Support .

Text Box: Dr SUess (AKA Courtney, Head Start Education Specalist) visited the children at Mason City Class A to read them a story.  Text Box: North Iowa Early Childhood Center in Buffalo Center held A RIF night in March. Virgene Hopkey presented “Once upon a fabulous family reading night”.
